I guess what you've got to learn is useful expressions so that you will come up with fluency in spoken Japanese. And here goes useful expressions that communicate splendidly with Japanese speaking people! DIALOGUE 1 It's summer and hot days are going on and here goes a dialogue between Hiro and Mika. Atsuidesunee Hiro: Atsuidesunee. Mika: Ee, hontooni. How hot Hiro: How hot! Mika:Yes, it IS!

DIALOGUE 2 Hiro and Mika are having a drink at a bar. The language style goes in very casual way this time. Nani nomu? Hiro: Nee, nani nomu? Mika: Uun, nani ga iikanaa. Hiro: Boku wa biiru dana. Mika: Atashi mo soreni shiyotto. What do you want to drink? Hiro: Hey, what do you want to drink? Mika:Well, let me see... Hiro: I'll get a beer. Mika: Me too!

I would like to add some usefull words in japanese, of course if it doesn't matter to you Takeshi :P samui = cold / tenki wa samui desu ne! (weather is cold!) warui = bad, wrong / anata wa totemo warui desu yo! (you are very bad!) sai = age / watashi wa 21 sai desu. (I am 21 years old) Finally, thanks Takeshi to help us to learn your language! Still like that!

Of course, it doesn't matter at all and you're more than welcome here too! I'm very glad that someone has posted here too!!!:D Well, here are small corrections on the expressions that you have put. I hope this wouldn't offend you. It's just because I'd like you to know how Japanese express ourselves in daily conversation. :wink: Tenki wa samui desu ne :arrow: (kyoo wa) samui desu ne Anata wa totemo warui desu yo :arrow: Anata wa totemo ijiwaru When we are talking about the weather, we omit the part of 'tenki' and we put 'kyoo, kinoo, ashita, etc'. The word 'warui' can offend people because 'warui' is used for those who are evil or something like that. And we often use 'baka' o 'aho' for a casual teasing among friends and nobody will be offended. :D

hahahaha :P Ok... no problem... its because Im learning by myself then nobody correct my mistakes... I hope you will!! PS: It doesnt offends to me... I need the corrections to learn more. Its my thinking :)

It's kind of confusing one but once you know how to tell the difference, it'll be no problem for you. :wink: In general 'wo' goes after the verb as a proposition of direct object, however, when it comes to certain verbs (suki, hoshii, etc.), we use 'ga' instead. See the following examples. Watashi wa hon wo yomimasu - I read a book. Anata wa nihon ga sukidesu - You like Japan. Kare wa kanojyo ga hoshii - He wants to have girlfriend.
