Hi!
I'm Japanese living in Spain and often travelling the world. I wonder if there would be someone who want to learn Japanese as well as to exchange culture. Well, let's have fun and hope to talk to you soon! :D

I'm trying to lean Japanese >_> ^_^ I want to learn! 日本語がすこしわかります I'm American born (my parents are both Colombian) hoping to one day live in Japan for a few years...Spain as well. Hi, AbstainSentinel! Welcome to the forum! I'm really glad you have arrived here! I've been here for more than five years and I'm speaking the language better than before although I still have a long way to go... Are you bilingual with English and Spanish, right? If you are a native speaker of English, it's rather easy to live in Japan because there are so many Japanese who need to learn English, especially spoken one. Oh, your art works are splendid and I like them very much. Anyway nice to see you and hope you have a good time with us here. Take care and talk to you later! :D P.S. How's your Japanese? Are you learning it by yourself or with someone?

Are you learning it by yourself or with someone? Oh, you saw my art? How o.O? X3 Anyways, thank you! Yes, I am bilingual English and Spanish. My English is far better than my Spanish, however I'm very fluent in Spanish (I can read and write in Spanish as well. Though it was my first language as a child, I'm not the grea-*test*-('") XD English took over). My Japanese really isn't that great. I've been learning on my own. Mostly through watching anime, and Japanese films. I can read and write Hiragana and Katakana. A friend did however help me ou with a few things that I couldn't figure out on my own. I give lots of thanks to him ^^ I'm limited in Kanji, however, ocassionally, I'll recognize the meaning of a character (I took Chinese for 4 years). I know some Kanji...about a small handfull perhaps... (The dictionary helps me alot. I must credit it XD) o.o Kumasan, are you welcoming me, or Samuraix? (XD Probably me, since samuraix has been here a while.) ^_^ Assuming it is me, thank you very much!

Is that what you mean? ^_^ Artista de anime, dibujador de anime o.O ? ^^ Nice to meet you too!

Nice to meet you AbstainSentinel and I'm very pleasure because now I can practice my english with you! See ya! Lol ^^ By all means, I'm glad to meet your too!.... ... ...o__o My Spanish isn't all that great. I'm very fluent, since it was my first language, but since I don't use it as much as I do with English (and I even use Chinese and Japanese more often sometimes than Spanish too) ....well, I kinda lost my edge with Spanish....What's worse is that I can't use accent marks on my computer to type words...T___T ^^ I hope to improve myself

dargorg- 09-03-2006

So if it's the first language you learnt you should remember/study it again and practice with us! We could help you with no problems ;) And... as you say, if you are fluent at spanish, why don't you try to write some sentences? Don't be shy! Haha Best regards!

I would write, but first I need to install some software on my computer so that I can write accent marks (not that I know how to use all of them, but at least I'll be able to write "n" with the accent...I'm concerned about that one o.o)

dargorg- 09-03-2006

Hahaha! You don't need to use marks here... this is an informal forum ^^ And about the ñ character, just type ny and we could understand what you mean hehe

KUMASAN- 09-03-2006

ny
